Brake system pressure sensor replacement
The sensor's operation is similar to that of all other pressure sensors, i.e. when a given value is exceeded the internal core bends and its movement is translated into an electrical signal. A damaged pressure sensor in the braking system affects its operation and may compromise your safety. For example, the ABS or ESP systems may fail unexpectedly while driving or braking. If the sensor fails, the braking system warning light on the dashboard goes on.
Tips
- Do not ignore the braking system warning light. A faulty sensor decreases your safety, especially in bad weather conditions
Scope of services
- Accessing the faulty sensor
- Replacing the sensor with a new one
- Computer diagnostics and cancelling errors
