Inclination sensor replacement, alarm system
The tilt sensor is a part of the alarm system and detects changes in the car position. This device protects the car against theft by setting the alarm off when the car is lifted on a jack in an attempt to tow it away or pull it onto a tow truck. If damaged, the sensor will prevent you from disarming the alarm or will activate it while driving. If this is the case, the sensor must be replaced.
Tips
- Deactivate the tilt sensor while travelling by a ferry. This will prevent the alarm from going off as a result of the ferry moving up and down.
- Tilt sensors are an ideal protection against wheel theft.
Scope of services
- Removing the faulty tilt sensor
