Brake pad wear sensor replacement
The brake pad sensors signal a threat when the thickness of the pad lining goes down below the minimum level. If this is the case, a warning light goes on on the dashboard. The sensors don't have to be placed on all pads. They need replacing, if worn.
Tips
- Do not rely on the sensors entirely. Make sure to perform a regular, visual check of your brake pads
- The pads should be replaced every 20 thousand kilometres on average
Scope of services
- Checking the pads
- Replacing worn pads together with the sensors
