Winter engine cranking at customer’s place
Cold temperatures in winter frequently cause the engine oil to thicken, as a result of which the battery's starting power is diminished causing greater resistance when starting the car. The service of starting a customer's car consists in connecting jumper cables to it and starting it. If necessary, the service may include defrosting the doors or locks.
Tips
- If your car has an automatic transmission, you mustn't push-start it.
- In order to avoid problems with starting your car in winter, you should check your battery regularly and replace it with a new one every 3 years.
