Changing sports coolant
A sports coolant has a much higher boiling temperature than a traditional one and keeps its properties at temperatures ranging from -40 to 180 centigrade. Application of a coolant capable of operating over a broader temperature range does not accelerate the wear of the other cooling system components, so it can be used with standard engines.
Tips
- The coolant should be replaced every 60 thousand kilometres
- Regular coolant change ensures optimal cooling conditions
Scope of services
- Unscrewing the radiator drain plug
- Releasing the coolant from the system
- The system should be cleaned e.g. with compressed air before filling it with fresh coolant
- Screwing the drain plug back on
- Filling the system with a sports coolant
