Pre-journey inspection

Pre-journey inspection

Going on holiday by car is still very popular with many people across Europe. Before setting out on a holiday trip, be sure that your car is in a good condition to avoid trouble on the way. If you have your car inspected regularly, it is enough to have only the key systems checked. Otherwise you should have it inspected thoroughly, especially if you detect serious failures.

Tips

  • A good idea before setting out on a trip is to buy one litre of engine oil
  • If you plan to carry a big load, you should increase the air pressure in your tyres as specified in the guidelines on the fuel inlet door or by the driver door pillar.
  • If you're going abroad, be sure that you have all the accessories required in the country of destination
  • The mandatory accessories include: a first-aid kit, a fire extinguisher with a valid inspection tag, a warning triangle and a reflective vest.

Scope of services
