Wiper blade motor replacement

Wiper blade motor replacement

If the wiper motor fails, the wipers work more slowly and noisily, to finally stop working at all. If this is the case, driving in rain is impossible. The wiper motor is located right beneath the windscreen. Accessing it requires removing the wipers and the panel under the windscreen. This procedure is not very difficult but it may take a while. After fitting the motor back in place you should adjust the position of the wiper arms.

Tips

  • If the movement of the wipers is slower or unstable, it is a sign that the wiper motor has broken down
  • A broken wiper motor is easy to repair or replace, so do it to avoid dangerous situations
