Light level regulation motor replacement

Light level regulation motor replacement

The headlight adjustment motor allows you to control the angle of the light beam produced by the headlamps depending on the car load. If damaged, the motor will prevent you from changing the height of the light beam, as a result of which you may blind the drivers coming from the opposite direction. In addition, your car will not pass the annual technical inspection test. In most cases you need to remove the headlamps to change the motor, although in some cars it can be accessed from underneath after removing the wheel arch.

Tips

  • Make sure that your headlamps are adjusted during each technical inspection
  • This is not required in the case of xenon lights as they are self-adjusting

Scope of services

  • Accessing the motor
  • Replacing it with a new one
  • Fitting the motor in
  • Adjusting the lights
